Design process
In designing the volume and facade, we considered three principles:
1. Climate and climate of Saudi Arabia
2. Technology and modernity of volume
3. Visual vision and user attention
1.Climate of Saudi Arabia:
According to studies, the climate of Saudi Arabia is hot and humid, and due to the proximity of
the project to the sea, we designed the building at a height of one meter and twenty.
We also designed terraces around the floors of the building and usedradiations on the floors and
facades to prevent direct sunlight from reaching the users.
2. Technology and modernity of volume:
The façade was made entirely of glass to provide both a commercial and a visual view of the city,
and the radiations on the façade are to prevent the new sun from entering the space.
In these radiations, we used LEDs so that it could enhance the appearance of the city and
become a German for the city for urban propaganda and for ceremonies and celebrations.
We also used solar cells on the roof to provide some of the energy for the two buildings.
3. Intuitive vision and attention to the user:
The design tried to provide comfort for users and store owners, and the terraces on
the floors convey a good view of the user and increase social interactions.
