Delara Residential Complex

Design process

Delara residential project is located in Ajodanie neighborhood of Tehran. The project has 8 floors, including 2 basements, 1 ground floor and 5 residential floors, each of which is 2 units. The lobby and parking are located on the ground floor. In designing the lobby entrance, an attempt has been made to induce a sense of invitation to users. In the lobby, there are tall windows for a good view of the surroundings and on the negative floor, there is a parking lot, a caretaker and a courtyard, where a green space, a fountain and a pavilion are designed for the use of the residents. Negative floor 2 includes the engine room, storage and amenities (gym, meeting room, swimming pool, sauna). In designing the floor plan, the symmetry of the two units was observed to some extent, which will affect its easy sale. In Roof Garden, an attempt was made to design two units that could use that space at the same time. The material used in this project is brick and stone. In this project, we have 3 facades to design: north, east and south facades. Due to this, the north and south sides were designed somewhat the same, and the east side had a different design according to it. On the east side, according to the request of the employer, the stairs are located in the center of it. In designing the stair box, we did not consider the walls of the stairs. Also, according to the open-level fire regulations, at least one of the sides of the stairs that is connected to the open air must be more than 50% of the total area of that side, which we have observed.
