Design process
The project is based on international architectural competition in Spain in 2020.
Given the prevalence of coronavirus worldwide in 2020 and 2021, it is essential to respect social distance in all aspects. One of the spaces where interaction takes place is parks and urban spaces. We designed cubes in different urban spaces where people can participate in social interactions while maintaining health protocols. The noteworthy point in this design is that people are safe from the bite of atmospheric factors and sunlight, and there are also green walls between the benches that, in addition to creating distance, establish social interactions between people. To create a visual appeal, the boxes are rotated in the heart of the earth and a tree is placed in their heart, and through the grooves on the cube, sunlight reaches the green space inside the cube and the tree.
