Design process
The project is based on international architectural competition in Spain in 2020.
In designing this project, we had to consider an area where artists can express their ideas, as well as the peace and quiet of the area to create a favorable atmosphere for artists to live.
In our opinion, it is a suitable place for artists to stay in Tehran due to the silence of the mountains, the healthy air and the view of the river in the Lavasan region.
We are inspired by Iranian gardens in designing the site. One of the prominent features of Iranian gardens is the symmetry and use of trees such as cypress and sycamore. Like the garden of Prince Kerman
Also, due to the cold and mountainous weather of Lavasan, cypress tree, which is evergreen, has been used.
The architecture of this building is inspired by the architectural elements of Prince Kerman Garden, which is combined with modern architecture, and tall windows in the spaces are designed for better viewing, and also due to cold and mountainous weather, brick and concrete materials are used.
