Tis Hall

Tis Hall

Design process

This project is based on Iranian architectural competitions in the city of Tis located in Chabahar in 1399.

Tis city is located in Chabahar city and is considered as one of the hot and humid areas in terms of climate.

Chabahar’s indigenous architecture is derived from the architecture of countries such as Pakistan, India and Portugal, which has inspired us to design buildings and semi-open spaces. Elements such as arches, chandelier wood, mats, cruciform designs, etc., and its combination with the simplicity of modern architecture, evoke an indigenous and at the same time modern space that has emerged from the culture and architecture of the people of the region.

Since the windbreak is one of the architectural elements of the area, we use it in its design as a provider of sunlight in spaces that need indirect light. Spaces such as galleries, prayer halls and… that add to the charm of this space.

Stairs that lead to the roofs of buildings are exposed (exposed) so that when the buildings are closed, people can easily access the roofs of buildings and tea houses.

The buildings are connected by bridges so that clients can use the rooftop tea houses when the weather is cool. They also have a good view of the sea.
